Carnivalesque 20 On-line
I've heard Henrik Karll of Recent Finds described as "a Danish Rundkvist, only a bit younger and with more facial hair". Heroically overcoming his many afflictions, Henrik is a productive blogger and has just put the 20th edition of the Carnivalesque history blog carnival on-line. It's about history, and this instalment is on the Early Modern Period. The next one will cover Ancient and Medieval history.

I'm the ogre that people worldwide use to scary their children.
At dinner-tables all around the globe:
"Son, if you don't eat that tuna/bean/prune sandwich right now, Martin Rundqvist will come tonight and sing and dance!"
"Bah, I'm not affraid of that ol' stupid Rundqvist-ogre!"
"Well, then, he might also bring Uncle Henrik with him to play drum on your skull!"
Aaaarrrghh!
They're particularly scared by my red eyes and them turqoise lips..
